We all want products that not only do what they say on the tin but look good too. As a teenager, I dreamed of having a space to put all my beauty products lined up, looking pretty. Much of my school years, I hardly used any products, but now it takes a small skincare and hair army to make me look fabulous.

As a disclaimer, these products work best for my hair. Which, for the record, is fine hair but lots of it. It can get quite dry at times and is always at risk of heat damage because of how thin it is.

So if you have hair just like mine, these are some of the hair care products you should be using that also look great in your home.

In The Bathroom

From the starting point, I live by SHOW Beauty hair care products. They are so good for your hair with hardly any bad stuff in them. In particular, I love using their Subline Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. Both are formulated without parabens and sulphates and help to repair damaged hair, leaving it soft, irresistibly touchable and full-bodied. Ideal for a Sunday wash when you wanna give your hair a bit of TLC. Plus, look how gorgeous the bottles look on your bathtub side.

On The Vanity Side

Other hair care products that look great on your vanity side are these. First is this gorgeous Paul Mitchel Marula Oil Detangling Hair Brush. This has literally changed my hair. Wet or dry, it glides through your hair like there is no tomorrow. It detangles your hair, leaving it super soft and shiny. It just looks great on the side with all your other hair care products.

Something else I love to use to achieve soft, shiny hair is R+CO High Dive Cream. The packaging is seriously gorgeous and the product itself does not fault! Use again on a Sunday for a deep hair treatment that leaves your lock looking shiny AF. For styling, I have two go-to products at the moment. The first is an oldie but goodie, Percy & Reed Big, Bold & Beautiful Volumising Spray. In classic monochrome packaging, this bottle will look pretty in any interior. The spray is great for giving fine hair a bit of lift at the roots, ready for you to take on the day. The next product is a recently discovered one. Ouai Texturising Hair Spray gives you serious bedhead, but in a good way. Spray your hair and just respond ‘oh I just woke up like this’ when people ask you what you did to get such gorgeous hair. Not to mention that silver goes with everything.
