Wedding Guest 2.0

Almost exactly a year later, I’m once again a wedding guest at a dear friend’s wedding. I do love an Autumn wedding. For me, you get the best of both worlds when it comes to weather- not too hot, not too cold.

Last year you guys all reacted so amazingly to my wedding guest style post, I decided to do it again!

Outfit Details

Like with the last wedding, I stuck to a dark coloured palette. I love this silk dress from Hope & Ivy, the deep navy colour along with the pops of jade green and peacock print is just gorgeous. The back is so interesting and the length is perfect- being longer at the back means no mishaps at the wedding.

The bag that I went with is this gorgeous clutch which is from, well you know where it’s from! Now, I know what you’re going to say- I’ve jumped on the bandwagon. But it took me a while to take the plunge and in all honesty- what made me want to invest in it was because to me, it’s a work of art and the reason why I love fashion. It’s such a statement and a bag that I will constantly¬†use over and over again. There will be some stuff that will fall out, for that I would invest in a see-through vanity bag to keep them in so that it doesn’t ruin the look of the bag. Plus, it fits a lot more than you would think it would carry- such as our snacks my friends and I munched on throughout the day!

For heels, I went for my trusty nude heels from Office. Looking back, I wish I had gone with black high heels- but sadly I realise I don’t own any. Something that I definitely need to invest in. Nude heels do elongate my little short legs, so no major complaints from me here!

For scent, I decided to wear one of my perfumes that I worn on my wedding day– in honour of the event. I went with Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir, just because this scent reminds me so much of the Autumn season.
