Currently I am in my mid twenties and I have become very aware that I am 30 in four years time....
I'm not worried, scared or dreading it. I am actually excited. I know some fabulous people over the age of 30 and I cannot wait to join them!
The only thing that I am worried about is not achieving the things I want to achieve before I turn 30. I have some goals that I want to complete before I become in my eyes a 'proper adult'. These are my 10 things I wanna achieve before I am 30...
HAVE PROPER SAVINGS
I am getting there with savings, I have started trying little and often and I have a little nest egg starting to appear. By the time I am 30 I want to have some big savings, I am talking a couple of thousands. I know it will take me while but if I can achieve that I know I will have made it.
TRAVEL TO ASIA
I have been to Thailand, but that's as far as I have gone. I really want to see Asia, particularly I wanna do Bali, Singapore, Malaysia, China and Japan. I would be gutted if I haven't gone to a least one of these places in the next couple of the years so fingers cross to me.
LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE
I am fairly okay at speaking French, mais Je voudrais vraiment pouvoir parler plus conversationnel français. I have four years to start building up my French speaking skills so again, just like savings speaking a little and often I will be able to master the French language.
CREATE A HOME
For my love of homeware you would think my house would be perfect. Sadly not, there are somethings you cannot do when you live in a rented flat. My dream would be to create the ultimate grown up house, beautifully set up looking so home magazine like. For now I will continue to search for perfection until I achieve it.
OWN A STATEMENT DESIGNER BAG
Since I was little, I have always dreamed of owning a designer handbag. My Michael Kors, is doing so well right now, but I have my eye on either Gucci or Chanel. I want to be in possession of a designer piece or at least have a the money so I can treat myself to it for my 30th birthday.
What are your 'proper grown up' goals?
