I have pipped on about this for many blog posts (see my beauty section here) that my skin is quite sensitive, so when I find something that works for me, I then to stick to it. I have tried many products and I am very happy to have found some key products that I do swear by and would highly recommend to anyone who asked.
First starting on cleansing there are a few products I use depending on my mood. The number one thing is my Garnier Micellar Water, very gentle but very effective. This will get rid of every bit of dirt off your face. I then move onto one of three things: for easy, lazy days I like Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk. Add onto a cotton pad and go from there. For everyday I love to use Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser; I truly love this product! So easy, so effective and moisturising on my skin. As a Sunday treat, Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel is perfect for this. This gel that turns into an oil and cleans from deep within.
My basic skincare then moves onto toning, serum, eye cream and finally moisturiser. For toner I always use Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic, great a way of tightening and brightening on my face. The best thing I use to rehydrate my Kiehls Hydro- Plumping Re- Texturizing Serum, a water base serum that is like a shot of moisture boost into the skin. Next I use Kiehls Creamy Avocado Eye Treatment, we always get told how good avocados are for your skin! Creamy, soft and plumping on the delicate skin. Finally I go for my oldie but goodie, Kiehls Ultra Facial Moisturiser. Light but effective and included SPF to ensure protection throughout the year.
For extra treats for my face, I go to face masks, they are always soothing and affective. My two favourites are the L'Oreal Pure Clay Masks, I have the glow mask and the detox one. Both are gentle to the skin, though the glow contains a slight exfoliator to really make your skin glow. For extra indulgence, I like to use the SK- II Facial Treatment Mask. I got a few samples for my birthday last year and this is my last one. It's like having a mini face lift so I am hanging on to it until my next birthday just in case!
A lot to my skincare when you look at it, but all products I would advise to anyone to use. Die hard favourites!
