Summer is pretty much over and I am very okay with this…

Unlike my friends who crave sun and hot weather, whilst I enjoy it- I am very much an Autumn/ Winter child. I love layers, I love outwear, I love the colours that come out at that of year and I adore the cosiness it brings. Plus Autumn TV rocks in the UK (X Factor, GBBO and Apprentice!)

Yes, I do believe as I write this post with it absolutely hailing it down with the rain, that Summer is over. And when something is over, it deserve a good send off….

La Redoute throw the best parties. Their Christmas party last year was so good! So when their invite came in for their Summer party I could not wait to go. So one Saturday evening, a bunch of bloggers and I got picked up and taken to a secret location. We were dropped off at the New Craven Hall (gorgeous building- perfect for events!) for a evening of celebrating Summer and welcoming the new season.

And with new seasons, comes new outfits. I remember whenever my family would go on holiday to France, my mum would always buy us some gorgeous pieces from the La Redoute catalogue and I always felt so fashionable as I would be dressing like the French kids rather than looking like a tourist. Since then, La Redoute has continued to step up their style game and I am a little in love with their new collection. And like the amazing company they are, us bloggers got to live their ANTM dreams and model the collection.

Please bare with me. The dress I wore is gorgeous, my face- not so much!

Oh course Gabby and Ellie looked gorgeous. I am also in love with this floral dress– the only time I ever lived out my Coachella dreams! I cannot wait to rock this with some heel boots in a gorgeous outfit post for you soon.
After a bit of modelling and drinking some gorgeous cocktails, the faint sound of nostalgia could be heard fainting in the back ground. Running outside we were all confronted with….

Oh how it has been years since I have had a 99 flake from an ice scream van. I went a little fancy and had some sprinkles on it.

I have to say a huge thanks to the gorgeous Laura and La Redoute for their invite and providing us with such lovely treats. It is such a pleasure to work with such a reputable brand and even better when you can rave about their product with genuine joy.

Check out tomorrow’s post for my top picks from La Redoute’s new season collection.
