Sunday Lunch At Hawksmoor Knightsbridge

STOP!!!

Before you do anything else this morning, make sure you book  your Sunday Dinner reservations this weekend at this place...

Whilst down in London for my birthday in November, I insisted on visiting this place for a meal and L could not resist trying it out when I mentioned the word steak. Hawksmoor is amazing, with seven locations (including one up North in Manchester!) serving up quality pieces of meat with all the lashings. We chose (I dictated) that we go to the Knightsbridge one, as it is right around the corner from Harrods.

With everything on the menu we went for the Sunday Roast Special: Roast Longhorn rump, served with duck fat roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, carrots, greens and lashings of bone marrow & onion gravy- which is to DIE for!! Utter Sunday lunch heaven!!! The meat is so tender and full of flavor.

For pudding we decided to share, and went with the 'Ambassador's Reception'. A giant chocolate and hazelnut tribute to a festive treat (can you guess what it is?), the dessert came with actual gold leaf, and was so rich and indulgent it was a good thing the chap talked me into sharing with him!

Grab your mobiles and get your table reserved, because I have a feeling their tables are going to fill up fast!
