Wandering Down To Bundobust

So healthy plan took a slight detour this week. I tried my hardest; but when someone offers you a potato burger and deep fried popadoms, you really cannot say no...

Bundobust has been around for a while in Leeds, but it's taken me this long to actually visit it. Such a mistake, I should have gone ages ago!! It's not a restaurant, it's a bar that happens to sell Indian street food. With an extensive selection of the world's best craft beer, the food is a great partnership to it. But don't just take my word for it...

Look at that! I mean it is a potato burger!! What more can you ask for?!?! Utter delicious- called Vada Pav; it is Mumbai's favorite burger. Fried spicy mashed potato ball coated in gram flour, served in a brioche bun with red and green chutney. Perfect comfort food and great with a beer!

You could also try Egg Bhurji. Indian scrambled egg cooked with peppers, chili, cumin and ground coriander. Served with the softest Indian flat bread (you will never love naan bread as much as you use to ever again!) it iss a great little dish to have on a lunch break dash. In fact you could dash, as the food is served incredibly quickly; I received my burger within five minutes of sitting down!

You will want to come again so do not resist! The best recommendation I will make this month!
