Recently at work I have been working 6.00am- 2.00pm at my full time job. To say it is an early start is one thing....

This is one of the most Luxurious dinners you could have on a cold Winters evening to warm the cockles. And yet, surprisingly, it is not bad in price for a bit of extravagance.

I am surprise to see Original Source doing body care products. Not that I should be, their shower gels are pretty amazing (I love the coconut one!) but I have had my doubts about them venturing into body care. As I am very sensitive with my skin, some brands body care products tend to have too many fragrances that can be damaging and too reactive with this type of skin. However, I am always up for trying new things and decided to give them a go.

They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

L and I celebrated 2 years together yesterday. I cannot believe it has only been two years! It feels like it has gone so quickly! Like literally, it is as if we just met yesterday. I still remember our first date, being so nervous about my hair looking perfect, trying not to be too much of a dork and not spilling food down myself. Who would have thought that two years on, I would spill pizza down myself and not give a flying hoot what he thought!

This soup is perfect for the winter but also for clearing out veggies that are about to turn. It takes hardly any effort to prepare (though it does take time) and once completed, nothing goes with it as good as so good chunky bread to dip in. Plus, it's vegetables, so hardly and cost and perfectly delicious.

Last night was a little bit magical.
My friends and I headed out to Roundhay Park in Leeds for the big Bonfire Night in Leeds. It was such a good night out trying not to freeze are arses off in the cold next to the big bonfire....

'Remember, remember the fifth of November, gunpowder, treason and plot, I see no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.'
For anyone outside of the UK wondering what on earth I am going on about, feel free to click here and here to find out about Bonfire Night's beloved history.
For my UK readers, have a great night (this is on of my favourite holidays) and most importantly don't do anything stupid with fire and sparklers and keep safe! Check out my Instagram tonight for all of my bonfire night photos that I will most likely be taking.
Have a great night!!

Last Thursday night I received a rather special invite to take part in a wine tasting event at a new wine bar that had just opened up. Rather than admit I had no other plans that putting my hair up into a pineapple, throwing on my pj's and going through an entire season of Homeland (it's good. So good.) I pulled myself off the sofa, through on some semi presentable clothes and headed off into the night...

When the lovely people at Thierry Mugler asked me to take part in their #AngelAddiction campaign, I jumped at the chance. Their perfume is so nostalgic to me, my mum's favourite perfume is Thierry Mugler Alien so the sweet notes of Thierry Mugler Angel of bergamot, helional, honey, vanilla, chocolate, caramel and patchouli bring back a flood of memories.
