Bunty's Tea Room, Lincoln

Sometimes we need a little bit of nostalgia in our life.

Bunty's is a little tea room that is back in my hometown, that my friend suggested I try out. In need of a little snack as I was walking up the hill, I decided to stop off.

A Night Out With The Girls

It was Pay Day for us lot last Friday and as is with tradition with my work friends, we go out the first weekend after this date.

We then pretty much live as hermits for the rest of the month.

The Battle For Smooth Skin

Get your army ready, load up with weapons and pick a side because it's fighting time!

And remember, the first rule about this fight club is, you don't talk about it.

Sneaky Smoothies

The easiest and quickest way to get some goodness into your body.

You can cram about 3- 5 veggies or fruits into a juicer and there you have it. An on the go to solution of healthiness that you can take to town or to work.

Pancakes Simple Style

Pancakes seem like a daunting things to most, but in fact can be one of the simplest things to make.

The fact of the matter is, there is hardly any ingredients to it, and people with basic cooking skills will be fine with this. But I do believe that people get a little nervous around tempting them.

Breakfast At Hepworths

It was a rare occasion that I had a Monday off and even more rare these days, my boyfriend had it off too. We decided to do brunch, and L told me of this place that he knew about that was doing a one day offer of half price brunches. In the mood for some yummy food and a lover of bargain dining, we set off to Hepworth's Deli, within Thornton's Arcade in Leeds.

Easter Sunday

tumblr

Easter is such a lovely time of year.

I am not religious, but like Christmas, I remember it for spending time with family. I am not a big Easter egg fan either, so it isn't always about the chocolate either (though it doesn't hurt...)

Back Home in The Country

I am proud of where I come, the home town I was born and raised in.

Its not the biggest place in the world and a few years ago it was OAP central, but since the expansion of the university my little home of Lincoln is going up in the world. I mean, we are finally getting a H&M (only took 23 years...)

Capuccino Pound Cake

So one night I let my wifey and work bestie talk me into helping her bake a cake.

Turns out I am not much of a patience person when it comes to baking.

The Final 'Type'down

It's that time of year again for most third year students, the dreaded dissertation hand in.

I remember the day I handed in mine. I was about an hour or two away from submitting it, when the guy who was binding it together turned around to me and went 'mate, you have a spelling mistake on the first page'.

Revlon Parfumerie: Scented Nail Enamel

I decided on a little treat this month.

Revlon have brought out some new scented nail polishes; inspired by the smells you would get in perfume bottles, sweet, fresh, fruit, spicy and floral. There are over 20 shades available and I decided to snap up a few in my local boots store.

Spa Day

Bar the whiskers and the shiny coat, this is what I am going to look like today- as my sister and I are whisking my mum off for a day at the spa as a late Mothers Day pressie. I hope she likes it- I cannot wait for some pampering.

Have a good weekend readers!

Beauty Review: Real Techniques Make Up Brushes

I finally took the plunge.

I went for it and forked a little bit of money out for the Real Techniques Brushes. I have heard so many positive reviews on them, but have always thought of them to be very pricey. In the end I decided to stay true to my blog name and look for a deal on them.

I love easy food and it doesn't get any easier than this meal.

I mean you cannot get any easier than following the packet.

A House Is Not A Home

These are the only pictures that I have of when we first moved into our first home together.

I'm kinda sad that I didn't have a proper camera back then like I do now, they will be forever over exposed with a substitute 'Instagram' app as it wasn't available on my Nokia phone at the tie so I had to make do with a different version.
