It was a rare occasion that I had a Monday off and even more rare these days, my boyfriend had it off too. We decided to do brunch, and L told me of this place that he knew about that was doing a one day offer of half price brunches. In the mood for some yummy food and a lover of bargain dining, we set off to Hepworth's Deli, within Thornton's Arcade in Leeds.
I am proud of where I come, the home town I was born and raised in.
Its not the biggest place in the world and a few years ago it was OAP central, but since the expansion of the university my little home of Lincoln is going up in the world. I mean, we are finally getting a H&M (only took 23 years...)
It's that time of year again for most third year students, the dreaded dissertation hand in.
I remember the day I handed in mine. I was about an hour or two away from submitting it, when the guy who was binding it together turned around to me and went 'mate, you have a spelling mistake on the first page'.
Revlon have brought out some new scented nail polishes; inspired by the smells you would get in perfume bottles, sweet, fresh, fruit, spicy and floral. There are over 20 shades available and I decided to snap up a few in my local boots store.
Bar the whiskers and the shiny coat, this is what I am going to look like today- as my sister and I are whisking my mum off for a day at the spa as a late Mothers Day pressie. I hope she likes it- I cannot wait for some pampering.
I went for it and forked a little bit of money out for the Real Techniques Brushes. I have heard so many positive reviews on them, but have always thought of them to be very pricey. In the end I decided to stay true to my blog name and look for a deal on them.
These are the only pictures that I have of when we first moved into our first home together.
I'm kinda sad that I didn't have a proper camera back then like I do now, they will be forever over exposed with a substitute 'Instagram' app as it wasn't available on my Nokia phone at the tie so I had to make do with a different version.
